Many of you have kindly asked how Pika is adjusting to the move...so far so good...we think! The biggest indicator so far as to her doing okay is that for about ten days before we moved (when the Vta house was in absolute chaos) and then again for about our first ten days here she would not take a bath! Our little girl who normally loves baths and who we had to hold out to keep from getting in the water too soon would basically refuse to bathe! It was seriously like trying to put a cat in water!! It took quite some effort on both our parts to even wash her off quickly! But now she is loving baths again (even taking a thirty minute bath tonight)!! And look at how long her hair is getting! To think she was bald such a little time ago!
and I am even getting a bit adjusted as well as I am starting to paint the walls and get the house in order! It's therapeutic to see the mauve/tan/a bit blah going and the almond paste take its place!! You can't really tell the colors in the pictures, but you get the idea!
