Last night Pika and I joined J after spending the last week getting the Ventura house ready to rent (J was with us for part of the week, but had to come up to work a winter camp). The drive was uneventful until about 45 minutes away from the house when it started to pour rain...serious rain...then as we got closer it started to hail...then started to snow...my first time driving to our house alone and it is snowing! Thankfully we got to the house safely and Pika slept most of the drive.
Then this morning we woke up to SNOW! What a fun first morning surprise!
Her favorite part was eating the snow, and more snow and more snow! She didn't even want to bother with using her gloves to get it to her face...she just dropped her face and ate!
We had a great walk our first day here...
