What a wonderful Wednesday! J took the day off (he's been having to work a lot of weekends) and we just decided we needed a day together so where better to go than Yosemite??
Pika loved riding the bus! Yea for public transportation!
We decided to do a bit of an impromptu hike up the Mist Trail...Pika loved hiking on Daddy's back...she encouraged & cheered & gave him lots of love!
This picture hopefully shows just how "misty" the trail was...we were soaked by the time we got to the top!
& for those of you who are familiar with this hike...look at all the water (this is Vernal Falls NOT Nevada Falls!) I could not believe how much water there was-even for the month of May!
J did a great job making it to the top with the extra 31 lbs of Pika on him!
A wonderful day indeed!
